ABOUT
They say that if you do what you love, you'll never work a day in your life. That's how I feel about woodwork. The things I love about it are reflected in my ethos for Lyneborg Woodwork:

Take pride in planning: spend time on research and design

Be thoughtful: understand who will use the piece and build it for them, with features and design that will delight

Build it to last: choose the best-suited materials and construction methods

MY STORY

Born in Copenhagen, Denmark, I originally chose a different path from my creative family of musicians, artists, and architects, by pursuing a long career as a commercial pilot.

Much of my free time was spent either creating intricate stream and pond systems in the garden, or climbing around on scaffolding to refurbish our 19th-century villa inside and out.

In 2001, we decided to embark on a new adventure in Scotland and settled in beautiful Perthshire. While many hours have been spent waders-deep in rivers, and on the golf course, my true passion has been to pursue my love for woodwork.

My carpentry workshop is where you'll usually find me, either creating digital drawings for a new coffee table design, or putting the finishing touches to another built-in wardrobe.

It would be my pleasure to discuss any ideas you might have for your home or garden.
